Last Christmas, my husband had just been diagnosed with lymphoma and had had his first chemotherapy session. This Christmas, he is clear of cancer and is looking fit and healthy with a new head of hair.
As for me, well, I’ve had my usual attack of “scanxiety” because of my bi-yearly CT scan and the subsequent appointment to discuss the results. But, I’m happy to say, yet again the cancer is stable and there has been no deterioration.
I’d like to thank all the hospital staff who look after me so well and to wish them and all of you a happy and peaceful Christmas.
